01Recording
From intimate vocal sessions to full-band productions, Flatiron Sound provides the equipment, instruments, microphones, and recording environment to capture your sound with clarity and character. We believe the recording experience should feel comfortable and collaborative.
02Music Production
Great records start before anyone presses record. Our production approach is collaborative and tailored to each artist. Some projects need hands-on creative direction, arrangement help, harmonies, or instrumentation. Others already have a clear vision and need the right team to bring it across the finish line.
03Mixing
Already recorded your project somewhere else? That's no problem. We can take your existing tracks and develop them into a polished, cohesive mix that translates across headphones, speakers, cars, and streaming platforms. For remote clients, we offer a streamlined collaboration process.
04Mastering
Mastering is the final stage between your finished mix and the outside world. We use professional mastering tools and an experienced ear to ensure your project has the consistency, balance, and volume needed for commercial and digital release.
05Artist Development & Consulting
For independent artists just getting started, we provide guidance throughout developing and releasing a project. Recording plan, production needs, timeline, credits, metadata, registering with PROs, and the steps involved in preparing your music for release.
06Live Music & Event Production
Our experience extends beyond the recording studio. We provide music production and audio support for live events, performances, showcases, worship experiences, and other productions, from concept through execution.
07Voice-Over & Media Recording
Our studio accommodates voice-over, spoken-word, and other media production. Remote sessions can be coordinated when needed, allowing clients to participate from outside New York City while we handle the recording and file delivery.
08Podcast & Audiobook Production
We provide recording, editing, and production support for podcasts, audiobooks, interviews, and other spoken-word projects. For larger projects, sessions can be organized in batches to make production more efficient.
